Nearly 3,000 physicians, residents/fellows, and medical students are members of the Nebraska Medical Association. These members recognize the value of belonging to a physician medical organization in the state of Nebraska.
My NMA “Why”
“With the growing number of powerful voices weighing in on healthcare, I believe that our collective voice as physicians can become a louder advocate in the best interests of our patients and colleagues. We all entered medicine and took an oath to serve others, and that commonality can band us together to best affect change. I have appreciated not only the advocacy efforts of my state, county & specialty medical societies these past few years, but also their efforts to support physicians as human beings. All of us are here to take care of our fellow Nebraskans regardless, but it is certainly a lot more fun to do it with the support and friendships of our colleagues!”
