At the NMA, we create opportunities for physicians to stay informed, connected, and engaged. Through member events, we support professional growth while strengthening the network of physicians across Nebraska.
Our Physician Advocacy Breakfast is a cornerstone event each year, bringing physicians together with state senators to discuss the issues shaping healthcare in Nebraska. It’s a chance to share your perspective, build relationships with policymakers, and ensure the voice of medicine is heard where decisions are made.
In the fall, we host the Presidential Inauguration and Awards Banquet, an evening dedicated to recognizing excellence in medicine.
Our Annual Business Meeting is held virtually, making it easy for members statewide to stay informed and involved.
We also offer additional opportunities to connect and engage throughout the year, including the Student Welcome, the NMA Husker Tailgate, our Physician Legacy Celebration honoring members with 50 years in practice, and Physician Connect Listening Sessions that give physicians a direct line to share insights on health care delivery across Nebraska.
